ABOUT

Hanne and Harry Greaver have operated the Greaver Gallery displaying their own work since 1978 in the picturesque ocean side town of Cannon Beach in Oregon. Their fine art graphics, drawings and paintings have been included in national juried exhibits in the United States and Canada with over 30 two-person shows to their credit.

Hanne Greaver was born and raised in Copenhagen where she attended Denmark's School of Arts and Crafts. She also studied in France for a year on a French government scholarship. Since coming to the USA in 1955 to marry Harry she has specialized in graphics and paintings.

Harry Greaver was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Kansas. He received his professional training at the University of Kansas (BFA and MFA) and at the Los Angeles County Art Institute. He taught in the Department of Art at the University of Maine, Orono, from 1955 to 1966. He was Director of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in Michigan from 1966 to 1978.
